The Business Details section is where you manage the core information about your business — keeping it current helps couples discover you and keeps your Profile accurate.
What can I update?
Business Name, Primary Category, Service Locations, Pricing, Website, Instagram Handle, Additional Social Media, Physical Address. Some fields are Members-only.
How do I update my Business Details?
- Sign in.
- Navigate to Profile > Business Details.
- Update your information.
- Save.
Why these fields matter
- Category — determines where you appear across the platform. Standardized for search, discovery, and SEO; choose the closest match if there's no exact one.
- Service Locations — help couples discover you where they're getting married. Standardized for search/SEO — choose the closest applicable location and keep your Physical Address current.
- Instagram Handle — used to identify your business, verify credits, and tag you across Carats + Cake and social whenever possible.
- Pricing — connects couples to businesses that fit their needs. Will play a growing role in vendor discovery and recommendations.
Can I change my business name?
Yes, you can manage your business name in your Account. Your Profile, Wedding Submissions, Featured Weddings, Albums, and Cherry content stay connected to your business even after a rebrand. The content is dynamic and your name change will be reflected everywhere.
Can I add more than one location?
Yes, you can add more than one location if you are a Member.
