Editorial Submissions
Submitting styled shoots and creative concepts.
Editorial Submissions showcase original concepts, creative collaborations, and new ideas designed to inspire the wedding industry. The submission process is the same as a Wedding Submission β select Editorial Submission instead of Real Wedding.
What is an Editorial Submission?
A styled shoot or creative concept created for inspiration rather than documenting a real wedding. It's an opportunity to explore new ideas, experiment creatively, and showcase what's possible for future couples.
How do I submit an Editorial?
- Sign in to your Account.
- Select Submit a Wedding from the site header or navigation.
- Choose Editorial Submission.
- Complete the submission details.
- Upload your images.
- Tag all known vendors.
- Submit.
What information do I need?
Same as a Wedding Submission. We strongly recommend including the photographer's gallery.
What we're looking for
Editorials are published less often than real weddings, so selection is especially competitive:
- Does the concept feel original?
- Does it highlight exceptional design, dΓ©cor, and craftsmanship?
- Can couples realistically translate these ideas into their own wedding?
- Does it push the industry forward without losing the context of a real wedding?
- Does it showcase the work of the creative team?
What we don't look for
- Editorials centered around the models.
- Fashion or portraits overshadowing the work itself.
- Concepts that feel unattainable or disconnected from real weddings.
The strongest Editorials help couples imagine what's possible while showcasing the creativity and expertise of the vendor team.
What happens if my Editorial is selected?
If your Editorial is selected it will be published on our site and you, along with all credited vendors, will be notified via email. The Editorial is then passed along to our social team for further consideration. All images from the feature are included in Cherry.
What happens if my Editorial is not selected?
If the Editorial is not selected it becomes available as an Album (same as a real wedding). Editorials that aren't published are still considered for Cherry, social content, and future editorial stories when they're a strong fit.
